OUR CSA

HOW?

Our CSA uses a debit card system to offer maximum flexibility for our members. As a member, you receive a “Harvest Card,” which you can use to purchase produce. You choose the produce that you want, subject to availability as crops go in or out of season.  Produce is priced at our farmers’ market prices, and you automatically receive your discount when you use your harvest card.  After you have selected your share, our staff checks you out, and you use your CSA card to debit the share from your account. Members can purchase four levels of debit cards:

• $300 card that costs $275 (8% discount)

• $600 card that costs $550 (8% discount)

• $800 card that costs $725 (9% discount)

• $1,000 card that costs $900 (10% discount).

*Any left over funds will roll over to the next season

When you join our CSA, you are telling us that you plan to come out to the farm to buy what we grow.  By putting your money up front, you demonstrate your commitment to our farm and help us to buy seeds and supplies and pay our hard working staff to plant, water, and weed our organically grown crops. CSA works for you, local agriculture, and the environment!

WHERE?

You can choose from any of our three Farmstand days per week (see Announcements tab for hours), and visit us at the New Milford summer and winter farmers’ markets during regular hours. Our season runs roughly 24 weeks, from early June through early November. Most of our crops are harvested and displayed farmstand style in our barn, and CSA members select their share from seasonally available crops. Some crops, such as beans, strawberries, some herbs, and flowers, are available as Pick Your Own crops in our fields.
